How to draw a Bettie Page inspired pin-up

How to draw a Bettie Page inspired pin-up
Part 1 the sketch to digital ink
First thing to remember is its usually a copy written photo of Bettie page your using so really let your style come through even if it ends up looking nothing like Bettie Page.

I also like to make the body a little more Barbie like and fake just so I can throw in some curvy shapes. In this case I added an angle to her back and even changed the back foot from the original. I have made her boobs slightly bigger and sort of curved her behind a bit more than the source photo.
Also I wasn't going to add the other hand but changed my mind. It's almost like you should deviate from the original, then when you are doing a final run, compare it your source photo again. Mainly re edit any weird looking or strange anatomy. I have never really been happy with my inking, I know I'm putting it off. But some professionals have told me I dont actually need to use ink, so I usually use Photoshop and use auto contrast feature (see first photo above for digital ink version).
